ODOO AUDIT PREPARATION

Bring the facts. Find the friction.

An audit is more useful when it starts with the work your people need to finish. Gather a few representative examples, identify the system owners and make the unknowns visible before the review begins.

Follow the work from a customer opportunity to the next action.Odoo

WHEN THE WORK FEELS HARDER THAN IT SHOULD

Start with three evidence sets.

Business impact

List the delays, errors and repeated work that matter most. Include an example and the team affected.

System context

Record version, edition, hosting, key apps and integration owners. Mark anything you cannot yet verify.

Operating evidence

Gather recent incidents, change records and recovery test results. A backup schedule alone does not prove a restore works.

THE WORK MADE VISIBLE

A focused audit starts before the call.

Use this checklist to prepare a useful conversation. Share sample records only through an agreed private process, with customer and employee information removed where possible.

DELIVERABLES TO AGREE IN YOUR SCOPE

  • A short list of priority workflows and their owners
  • An inventory of known systems and missing information
  • Examples that show expected and actual behavior

APPROACH AT A GLANCE

  1. 01
    WORKFLOWS

    Choose the paths that matter

Trace one sale, one service request or one operational handoff. Note where people leave Odoo to finish the job.

  2. 02
    DEPENDENCIES

Identify what the workflow relies on

List custom modules, connected services, scheduled jobs and account owners. Include the people who can explain unusual behavior.

  3. 03
    PRIORITIES

    Separate urgent issues from improvements

Agree what interrupts business today, what creates ongoing risk and what can wait. Give each finding a next action and a responsible owner.

A CLEAR PATH FORWARD

Understand the work.
Agree the next step.

01

Gather the starting facts

Bring the workflow, people and constraints that matter to the decision.

02

Review the gaps together

Identify missing information and agree who will resolve it.

03

Agree the next action

Define a useful assessment or delivery scope with clear responsibilities.

Brand. Digital. AI. One system.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Clear expectations make better working relationships.

Scope, responsibilities and success criteria belong in the conversation from the start.

Explore our Odoo approach

Do we need to prepare a full technical report?

No. Start with the facts and examples you already have. Missing documentation is itself useful information for scoping the assessment.

Should we provide production credentials with the checklist?

No. Identify the access owner first. Any required access should follow a private, agreed process with only the permissions needed for the review.

Will the audit include fixes?

Agree that explicitly. Assessment, remediation and ongoing monitoring are different activities. The scope should name the deliverables, validation and any separately approved changes.

START WITH YOUR BUSINESS

Turn recurring issues into a clear next step.

Bring the workflow that causes the most friction. We will help define the right assessment around it.
